About Me
For most of my life, I've been interested in the relationship between food, movement, and well-being.
My background includes competitive athletics, martial arts, yoga, personal training, and more than thirty years of working with people to improve their health and fitness.
Along the way, my understanding of what it means to be healthy has changed.
There was a time when I believed that training harder, eating better, and maintaining discipline were the keys to living well.
Those things still matter.
But I've come to appreciate something equally important.
Simplicity.
Eating good food. Moving regularly. Taking time to be still. And enjoying life without feeling that everything has to be perfect.
That philosophy is at the heart of Kenny's Vegetarian Kitchen.
How It Started
I've spent years experimenting with simple, plant-based meals that fit naturally into my everyday life.
One of those foods is my Maple Almond Granola.
Made with organic sprouted oats, nuts, seeds, maple syrup, and other thoughtfully chosen ingredients, it became something I enjoyed eating regularly.
Eventually, I began sharing it with friends and clients.
They enjoyed it, too.
What started in my kitchen became a small way to share something I genuinely believe in.
Today, I continue making granola in small batches for friends, regular customers, and occasional farmers markets.
Nothing complicated.
Just good food, made with care.
More Than Food
Kenny's Vegetarian Kitchen is also an extension of my work as a writer, wellness practitioner, and lifelong student of healthy living.
In my book, Eat Raw & Go Naked: A Recipe for Vibrant Living, I share many of the ideas and experiences that have shaped my approach to food, movement, and mindfulness.
I also write a weekly journal, Eat Well. Be Well. Enjoy Life., reflecting on the everyday experiences that continue to teach me what living well really means.
These days, I'm less interested in pursuing perfection and more interested in finding a rhythm that feels sustainable.
A good meal.
A little movement.
A moment of quiet.
Time with people who matter.
For me, that's what living well is about.
Eat Well. Be Well. Enjoy Life.
